Gino DosSantos, the co-owner and outdoor designer extraordinaire here at Root & Stone – has two decades of expertise in the landscape industry. He brings his unrivaled passion for transforming residential properties into breathtaking outdoor spaces.
Gino has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a master’s degree from SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, NY.
In 2014, upon moving to Maryland, Gino secured a coveted Designer/Project Manager position with one of the largest landscaping companies in Maryland and renowned nationwide. Over the course of five years, he had the privilege of creating countless unique outdoor living spaces for his clients, infusing each project with custom elements and thoughtful touches that set them apart.
Eager to elevate his craft and perfect his processes, he continued to collaborate with other leading landscape companies in Maryland, continually sharpening his expertise. Eventually, fueled by his unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled quality and customer service, he and his wife took the leap and founded – Root & Stone.

Autumn brings over 20 years of extensive experience in administration, operations management, marketing, and entrepreneurship to Root & Stone.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Baltimore in 2004, she immersed herself in diverse industries over the years, developing a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking.
Autumn also possesses hands-on project management experience, having successfully overseen numerous residential rehab projects, where she honed her skills in planning, budgeting, and executing complex designs.
Known for her passion for nature and innovative thinking, Autumn provides strategic guidance and operational oversight, ensuring that projects transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments while balancing quality with affordability.
Her creative insights and strategic oversight contribute significantly to the company’s ability to deliver outstanding projects. Committed to continuous growth, Autumn constantly seeks new ways to enhance Root & Stone, driving the company forward through inspired leadership and dedicated operational support. We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in the outdoor design/build or landscaping or hardscaping industry.
This role is essential to ensure our projects are executed smoothly from the time of design handoff to project completion. You’ll work closely with the Designer, Site Leader, and Installation Crew to oversee jobsite operations and act as a key liaison between the company and our clients during the installation process.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred, as we serve a diverse client base and crew.
