Gino DosSantos

Gino DosSantos is the co-owner and lead outdoor designer at Root & Stone, bringing more than 20 years of experience in landscape design and outdoor construction. His work combines thoughtful planning, creativity and practical construction knowledge to create outdoor spaces that feel intentional, functional and connected to the home.
Gino earned a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a master’s degree from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York.
After moving to Maryland in 2014, he worked as a Designer and Project Manager for established landscape companies throughout the region, designing and managing residential outdoor-living projects and refining his approach to both design and installation.
That experience ultimately led Gino and his wife, Autumn, to establish Root & Stone – giving them the opportunity to create a more personal design/build experience centered on thoughtful design, craftsmanship and strong client relationships.

Autumn DosSantos is the co-owner of Root & Stone and oversees the business operations, marketing and strategic direction behind the company. She brings more than 20 years of experience in administration, operations management, marketing and entrepreneurship.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Baltimore, Autumn worked across a variety of industries, developing a strong background in business operations, project coordination and creative problem-solving.
She also brings hands-on residential project management experience, including planning, budgeting and coordinating renovation projects – experience that translates directly into the organization and communication required for complex outdoor design/build projects.
At Root & Stone, Autumn focuses on the systems, client experience and long-term strategy that support the design and construction team, helping ensure each project is thoughtfully planned and professionally managed from beginning to end.
Join the Root & Stone Team
We’re currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Root & Stone team.
This role is an important link between design and installation, helping ensure each project moves smoothly from design handoff through final completion.
The Project Manager works closely with our Designer, Site Leader and Installation Crew to coordinate jobsite operations, keep projects organized and serve as a key point of communication between Root & Stone and our clients throughout the construction process.
We’re looking for someone with experience in landscape design/build, hardscaping or a related outdoor construction field who is organized, dependable and comfortable managing both people and projects.
Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly preferred.
